The Cadillac of Naperville is the largest automobile dealership showroom in the country. The project was completed in 10 months, including difficult winter conditions.
The Edge Construction Co. utilized the ProCore construction management system for project controls and financial management.
The interior and exterior architectural details demonstrate Edge Constructions’ ability to meet the architects’ design vision, setting this dealership apart from others.
This project’s facade included demanding light gauge structural framing elements while producing pleasing architectural statements. The project area encompassed the entire building façade and included some challenging interior architectural elements.
The exterior building elevations and facades required lifts and scaffolding working to heights in excess of forty feet. The facades were constructed to accept different architectural surfaces.
The interiors consisted of balconies, luminous ceilings, architectural paneled ceilings, and multilevel ceilings ranging from 9-ft to 24-ft. Wall surfaces were constructed to a level-5 finish to accept wall coverings and architectural wood wall panels.
