Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. (ABC) is working hard at the State Capitol to represent your business interests. To help us to continue to fight on your behalf, we are asking for your financial support of Contractors for Free Enterprise (CFE), our state political action committee.

On the positive side of election results, CFE helped candidates that also narrowly went onto victory in 2022:

Willie Preston (Chicago) won his primary by 1,495 out of 17,451 cast that led to his Senate victory in the fall.

Sen. Dan McConchie (Hawthorne Woods) victory was by 395 votes out of 88,879 cast.

Sen. Seth Lewis (Bartlett) victory was by 3,238 votes out of 83,896 cast.

Erica Harriss (Glen Carbon) defeated Sen. Kris Tharp (Bethalto) by 1,616 out of 73,302 cast.

In order for us to continue our fight in Springfield protecting Merit Shop Contractors from discriminatory legislation we are asking for your financial support. Below are some recommended levels. Please feel free to donate whatever you are able and comfortable with.

Our legislative committee will be meeting soon to review and discuss which state legislative races we will be involved in during the next election cycle and continue our grassroots efforts on the many legislative bills that would greatly affect your ability to do business in Illinois.
